There is a myth (urban ??) that cows sleep standing up and you could push one over if you tried (seriously push over a jersey cow ! ?).
Cows can rest while standing up. But they most definitely sleep lying down. Here is one of our expecting jersey mothers as snug as can be. Fast asleep. Shhhhhhhhh dont wake here!
